So far the month of July is already filled with “firsts” for Lillie. 

July 2nd she got her hair cut for the first time.  She did great.  I took her to CookieCutters, a place that specializes in haircuts for kids.  She climbed and played on the slide until it was her turn.  I let her pick which seat she wanted to sit in and she chose the old fashioned car.  She got all her baby hair cut off, which was about 1 inch long.  It was such a bittersweet moment.

July 10th she went poopoo in the potty for the first time and then she used it again on the 11th.  Gosh she is growing up wayyy to fast.

July 12th she went to her first county fair and dirt bike races.  Although we got rained on several times throughout the evening it didn’t faze her one bit.  She was in awe at watching the big rides going around and she was giggling watching the dirt bikes jumping the dirt hills.  It was hard to imagine that some of those racers were just 2 years older than her.

I’m afraid to even think about what the rest of the month might bring in ways of other “firsts”
